All Softshells are not created equal! The GIN Lite Softshell jacket is made with “BARRIER ECO” fabric from innovative Swiss company HeiQ. BARRIER makes fabrics more repellant than other stain and weather resistant textiles, thanks to 3D hyper-branched polymers on the surface of each textile fiber. The result is a weather resistant, durable and breathable fabric with a soft handle. What’s more, the fabric is Fluorine free, so no environmentally harmful PFOSs or PFOAs.
