Reserve and emergency parachute instructions:

We have gathered together links to the packing instructions for many of the reserves from the manufacturers/brands that we have distributed.

Please note that each of the brands below, as well as many of the National Associations for paragliding, paramotoring and hang gliding, recommend a maximum life of 10 years for a reserve parachute. This may be extended under certain conditions – check with a qualified repacked or repacking centre or you can contact us if in doubt.

UK Airsports paragliding reserve, rescue or emergency parachute

If you can’t work out the age of your reserve from the serial number label then contact us as we keep records of all reserves that we have sold over the years and can often date it for you.

Airwave: Airwave reserve parachutes are now more than 15 years old and you should really retire it and get something newer and modern.
