Service

We are committed to ensuring that all our customers get maximum enjoyment out of our products. However, we all damage equipment from time to time but this doesn't have to be the end of your fun.

We stock spare parts from all the manufacturers that we regularly deal with (even older models). All inspection and repair work is carried out by Aerofix (http://www.aerofix.com), an independent Service Centre based at the address. Equipment returned for repair is usually turned around within 7 days. Please confirm with Aerofix when booking in your equipment in.

For all warranty issues please return your equipment to the place you purchased it from or contact us via the contact page or call 0870 744 1677

Spare parts
If you require us to send you spare parts for fitting yourself and you can't find the part you require in our on-line shop, please contact us via the contact page, email us (flash email address?) or call 0870 744 1677 to discuss your requirements.

Lines
If you require one or more replacement or spare lines, please contact Aerofix by email (service@aerofix.com) or call 01768 779801. We will need details of your glider make, model, size and line colour. It is also really useful if you have the line diagram from your glider/kite.

Paraglider, harness, kite and other sewn repairs
Equipment returned to us for repair is usually turned around within 7 days of receipt. Please confirm when booking in your equipment with Aerofix by email (service@aerofix.com) or call 01768 779801. Aerofix can only give very rough estimates of cost for repairs via e-mail or telephone. In order to cost the repair correctly we need to physically examine the kite to assess the damage and the required repair. Please ensure that the glider or kite is clean & dry (free of rocks, sand, etc) and that it is properly packaged, stamped, addressed and insured (in case of loss/damage). Aerofix cannot accept responsibility for equipment that fails to arrive or is damaged in transit. Also ensure that you enclose your contact details, contact number and a brief description of the problem or the work you require aerofix to carry out. All repairs should be addressed to Aerofix, Blencathra Business Centre, Threlkeld, Keswick, Cumbria. CA12 4TR.

Minor and superficial repairs
If your paraglider or kite has sustained only small superficial damage (ie. a rip of around 2cm or less in "non-stress" areas away from seams, line attachment points, leading & trailing edges) you can normally repair this yourself with our ultra strong ripstop repair tape.

Helmets
If helmets are dropped heavily, cracked or you suspect that they have been damaged in any way then they should not be used. It is not possible to repair helmets and they should be replaced.

Bräuniger instruments
If your instrument is obviously broken, for example a cracked screen, then the quickest way to repair Bräuniger instruments is to send it directly to the manufacturer, this ensures the quickest turnaround.
