I'm sure you know already that Airwave's new intermediate glider, the SPORT 4 has been certified to the new EN926 and the German LTZ class 1-2 (same as DHV 1-2). All sizes, S, M, L and XL passed with an amazing test result of 21 A and only 3 B which would be what you would expect from a very secure, medium skill and forgiving intermediate glider.
However, using new technology fed down from Airwave's World Champion winning competition wings Airwave have managed to create an intermediate, 1-2 glider with significantly higher performance. The excellent test results, improved pitch and roll stability make this extra performance very easy to use.
As Airwave would put it "...you just float to the top of the stack with minimal inputs and glide away from the pack!
"The SPORT 4 will be right up there, no doubt about it. It is likely to be one of the benchmark gliders in it's class, just like each Sport has been in the past. I for one can't wait to try one and it will probably be my first choice for comfortable XC flying in the UK and abroad." Patrick Holmes, UK Airsports.
The first Sport 4s were seen atthe stubai Cup in late January. The first production Sport 4s will be here at the beginning of March. Demo gliders will be available straight away, they are being booked now. To avoid disappointment, don't delay, ask you dealer for a test flight now.
