Up to 140kg - The pendulum free PDA canopy (Pull Down Apex / annular) offers fastest opening and minimum sink values! UK Airsports Note: we recommend a maximum load of 115kg on this reserve parachute, for a descent rate of 5.5m/s

The Skyline SURVIVE rescue parachute was developed for use with Paragliders or Hang gliders. The first priority when designing this reserve, was to develop a rescue device with minimum deployment time, a low sink rate and high loading capacity. The special packing system guarantees a fast deployment. In the DHV-license test, The Survive was dropped from a height of 60 meters with a mass of 70 kg attached. The Rescue parachute had fully deployed within 40m. In normal use the deployment will be even faster, because pilots would, in most cases, throw the chute away from the body.

Characteristics & Features:
- The comparatively large area of the canopy reduces the sink rate. Because of the long lines the Survive is much more stable than normal rescue systems. This also reduces the pendulum effect and the speed of impact of the pilot may be considerably lower.
- The construction of the inner container helps with the fast deployment. A pilot chute is attached to the container. This ensures that the rescue chute moves away from the pilot immediately - even if the container has not been thrown away forcefully. The container’s four-leaf-system guarantees a fast deployment while making packing easy.
- flat round canopy (annular) with 2 midlines and a big middle opening. That gives a large projected area which leads to a lower sink-rate and a faster deployment time. Also the canopy is build of two different materials. The upper material has more porosity than the lower material, which helps to reduce unwanted pendulum effect.
