Optimized for the paraglider or hang-glider enthusiast and competitor, the MLR SP24 XC Free Flight offers fast acquisition, rapid calculations and accuracy, in a lightweight, easy-to-use handheld GPS receiver that can be easily and securely Velcro-strapped to your rig.The SP24 XC Free Flight shows land speed and route, calculates the Glide Ratio (GR) needed to reach your destination waypoint and can store more than 8000 track-points with position, altitude, date and time.
Developed, in collaboration with the French Free Flight Federation, the SP24 XC Free flying functions meet the high standards of "Check-in", for following flight paths and entering points of passage, thanks to our collaboration with C. Quest of the FFVL. Approved for use in national and international hang gliding competitions, SP24 XC Free Flight is also used by the French Paragliding and Hang Gliding Organization and by the French Federation of ULM gliders (www.ffplum.com).
