The camera has all the features and functions of the GoPro Helmet hero Wide but with a different mounting system included.
This is a fantastic way to capture surfing images and video - mount the camera at the front of your surf boar or kitesurf board, pointing up and back at the surfer. The fish eye wide angle on this camera gets the you AND the wave!
Unique camera mounting system:
Sleek FCS fin plug mounting system requires an FCS center fin plug to be installed in top deck of the board 20-30cm back from shortboard nose or on nose of longboard
Additionally the kit includes an easily removeable stick on base plate which allows multiple mounting options.
The Surf HERO can shoot automatic 5MP photos every 2 seconds for 65 minutes
before a 2GB SD card will be full. Photos below were shot in this automatic mode.
