Well done to the team!
"Well we finally did it".
After two years of planning and several false starts the team of; Fraser Dooley, John Flinn, Martin Sandwith, Nick Elliott & Stuart Wood completed the crossing of the Irish Sea from Cloghy in Northern Ireland to Silloth in West Cumbria.
Says Nick Elliott "We set of from Cloghy at 09:00 Saturday and landed at Silloth at 18:00 a distance on the GPS of around 110 miles (177km). "
Nine hours, 4m swells, aching muscles... a down-winder to remember...!
