The  MAGIC 5 is fast. Never before has a glider received EN certification with a speed range of over 30km/h.

During the certification they measured a top speed of 58km/h on the MAGIC 5 Large. Stall speed is very low with  26km/h,    trim speed is 39km/h and top speed is an incredible 58km/h.

But the real beauty of the  MAGIC 5 is not in its speed range or its stability at speed but the pure pleasure of handling, especially in thermals.

Sorry that the release of the MAGIC 5 took longer then expected – but we wanted to built  the worlds best serial class glider – and that takes time ...

KISS leads Accuracy World Cup again !

Accuracy pilots love Airwave gliders because they have a lower controllable flight speed then almost all other gliders.

The 2008 PAWC (Paragliding Accuracy World Cup) just started in the Macedonian site of Krusevo with 68 pilots from 8 countries competing. After two rounds Matjaz Feraric from Slovenia is in first place on his Kiss M!

Matjaz Feraric is also the current world champion and PAWC champion (2007) in accuracy flying (Airwave WAVE) and Rafael Kerin is vice world champion (Airwave SPORT).

The adventure from Antoine Girard begins!

On June 14, Antoine GIRARD starts his big adventure. Antoine wants to climb 4 peaks with over 8000 meters - one after the other and fly down from them on a Paraglider. He will begin with Broad Peak (8047m) then K2 (8611m),  G2 (8 035m) and finally G1 (8 068m).

All the peaks will be climbed  without Sherpas and without oxygen. Antoine will fly an Airwave HIMALAYA glider. The HIMALAYA was specialy designed for professional mountain expeditions. It has a total weight of under 2 kg including risers but has a size of over 20 m2 with a very efficient brake deflection for easy take off also in difficult high altitude conditions with thin air. The trim speed is around 40 km/h  with a glide of over 7:1.

SPORT 4 – production ramped up and in full swing

To fulfill the demand on Airwave's new Intermediate glider they had to boost production capacities in a big way. This is now running well and larger numbers of gliders are arriving weekly. Delivery times are coming down!
